Martha Lambert is an education specialist, and a media professional of 22 years in both the television and publishing fields (in front of and behind the camera), as well as an author of children's books. Martha wrote and produced 104 episodes for HBO's first children's program, MARTHA'S ATTIC, has written for Disney's education department, and other children's video companies. Her children's books include I Won't Get Lost, Toy Makers Surprise, Jungle Adventure, How the Moon Got Her Job, and The King and Queen of Quirk. She also co-authored the book, "Why Do You Love Me?" with Dr. Laura Schlessinger. Books #7 and 8 are expected to be out soon.
Her work in the education field includes teaching in the Los Angeles Unified School District for several years, touring many schools with her story telling program, and featuring her own Adventures in the Great Stone Balloon, an imaginative video and activity book designed to encourage self-esteem, values, creativity, and personal leadership.
As a talent, Martha worked on the daytime drama, As the Worlds Turns, performed stand-up comedy in New York and Las Vegas, and hosted local and national talk shows including AM New York, Saturday Morning, and Break Away, plus worked as guest host with Regis Philbin. She has an amazing gift for developing and performing lovable characters, including a rollicking version of Julia Child, the Queen of Domesticity (Martha Stewart), and a pithy fictional character named Gupta. Ms. Lambert employs her cast of characters on the speaking circuit, sharing their unique perspectives on creative problem solving for corporate, healthcare, and education audiences.
