Dr. Mark Burdick is currently President of the California Assn. of Licensed Educational Psychologists. He has devoted his life and career to the mental health of youth demonstrated by his works, lectures, and positions. He has served as Chair of the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences for ethics and licensure of mental health practitioners, and continues as an expert in this field. Dual licensed as a clinical and educational psychologist, he uses his knowledge and training to find the “best fit” for youth who need specialized settings to excel.  He presents worldwide to diverse cultures and international audiences.

Dr. Burdick is a professional member of the American Psychological Association and European Council of Independent Schools. He has consulted on several television series, and was most recently quoted in PEOPLE MAGAZINE (May 5, 2008 , "World's Richest Kids") in the article on "Riley, Interrupted" to help parents find help “When a Teen Is Out Of Control”.
