A native of São Paulo, Brazil, and current resident of Rio de Janeiro, Flávio has a versatile wealth of experience in the filmmaking industry. His most recent credit was as aerial unit producer for the Brazilian segment of INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL. In 2005 he won the Coxiponé Award for best production of the film DIABO A QUATRO, O. At the Miami Brazilian Film Festival in 2001 he won best feature film and best screenplay for BUFO & SPALLANZANI.
He directed the film TIM MAIA and the documentary film PARATY: MISTERIOS. He also directed O PASSAGEIRO SEGREDOS DE ADULTO in 2006. Flavio served as casting director for the Paul Mazursky film MOON OVER PARADOR in 1985, and played an acting role in the movie.
Flávio is the head of his own production company, Tambellini Films. The companys most recent works are PRO DIA NASCER FELIZ, by João Jardim, OS DESAFINADOS by Walter Lima Jr and MUTUM by Sandra Kogut.
